It's interesting how I am the involuntary middleman.

I think my friends have a lot to teach me in that they go through the trial and error so that I don't have to. That's at least what it seems like. It's almost a feeling of guilt, how I constantly play the unknowing arbitrator, picking and choosing my terminology as if I were speaking to an enemy. This is not to say that I'm dishonest or deceptive with those I hold close, but rather, I've discovered that I am both a judge and a witness, and to myself, at least, I am both the innocent bystander, yet the one who also controls the pawns. Perhaps it is simply the way I see things, perhaps it is just unfortunate circumstance. Either way, a friendship is best defined by illicitness and which words are confined within it.

The bottom line is that help is given to those who help themselves.

Chlorine is the most powerful of truth serums.

People will only reveal themselves if you do so first.
